Almost three decades ago, I picked up my first needle and thread, sparking a lifelong passion for sewing that grew from a personal hobby to a shared experience on social media. In 2022, I took a bold step and launched Sew & Tell Australia, taking years of accumulated knowledge and enthusiasm into a channel that empowers sewists globally.
Since launching, I’ve transformed traditional sewing lessons into dynamic online courses, connecting with thousands of creative minds across the world. This shift to digital not only grew my community, it also enriched the learning experience. Through Sew & Tell, I’ve been able to share an even bigger range of techniques and inspiration.
The Together We Stitch Online Sewing Education Expo is a chance to create meaningful connections and listen to engaging conversations from some of the best sewing minds in the world.

A virtual gathering for sewists, makers, and creators from around the globe. It is a space to learn more about the craft we love and connect with others in the sewing community. This free to attend event is happening October 11-14, 2024.
The expo is for anyone seeking inspiration, insights, and community connection in the sewing world.
Once you register for your Free or VIP ticket, you’ll receive details on how to access the expo sessions. The expo will be hosted through the online platform, Thrivecart Learn. It’s a virtual event, so you can join from the comfort of your home.
General admission provides access to each day’s presentations until Tuesday 15th October. VIP attendees enjoy an additional 12 months access to expo presentations.
The expo covers a range of topics, including sewing techniques, fabric types, sewing sustainably, and more. Check out our agenda for specific details.
The sessions are mostly pre-recorded, except the session with Siser North America. You will have 3 days to watch the presentations once they have been released.
No not at all. While most of the community aspect will be on Facebook, the actual presentations will be through the platform Thrivecart which is included in your ticket.
Yes! The Together We Stitch Expo 2024 is completely free! You will have 72hrs (3 days) to watch the presentations and soak up all the learning. After Tuesday 15th October, only those who have upgraded to the VIP ticket will have an extra 12 months to watch the talks.
– For those that register for the FREE ticket, you will be able to watch all presentations for 3 days from the day they are released. Access to the replays finishes Tuesday 15th October.
– You will also get to interact in the Pop Up Facebook Group with other attendees and speakers from all over the world.
– Every Attendee also gets a free Digital Booklet with lots of fun information about sewing.
